              SPLICE Foundation Inc, founded in 2006, is an independant not-for profit organisation (NGO) based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria Australia. 

             We aim to connect members of the community to the natural world to enhance personal and community wellbeing. This connection leads to

              a greater respect for each other , for the Planet and  for all species on both a Local and Global level.

             SPLICE Foundation encourages diversity and includes culture and the arts in our environmental and wellbeing work.

                Congratulations to Kate Purcell-Comery who is the winner of "SPLICE Inspirational Leadership and Environment" award. Kate also receives a student

                bursary to assist with her ongoing work in 2012. Kate is a year 11 student at Rosebud Secondary College , Victoria, Australia.  Kate has been working

                enthusiastically for the environment since her primary school years. She is also passionate about incorporating arts into her environment work. We look

                forward to connecting with Kate on several occasions throughout 2012. Kate was presented with her award by Judith Homa, Ecopsychologist and Founder

                of SPLICE Foundation Inc., at the Senior students awards night at Rosebud Secondary College in December 2011. The large gathering of parents, friends,

                students and teachers appreciated Kate's  committment to the community and to the environment.

                Kate was a special guest at SPLICE Women's Circle in  December 2011.  All agreed that Kate was a most worthy winner who shows amazing leadership skills

                and passion for her work. 

                Funds for the Bursary were raised by the Committee members of SPLICE Foundation Inc. and donations from members of the SPLICE Women's Circle.

 SPLICE Foundation acknowledges the Bunnurong People as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and live. We pay our respects to their Elders both past and present.
